Biography

Feng-Yi Yang (楊逢羿) was born and grew up in Taipei, Taiwan. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1993, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from National Yang-Ming University and National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1997, and 2007, respectively, all in biomedical engineering. Dr. Yang was an assistant professor since 2008 and is now a distinguished professor in the Department of Biomedical Imaging and Radiological Sciences, School of Biomedical Science and Engineering, National Yang-Ming University, Taipei, Taiwan. His research interests are primarily concerned with therapeutic ultrasound, ultrasound neuromodulation, ultrasound drug delivery, biomedical engineering, medical imaging, and medical physics. He received the Future Tech Breakthrough Award (2018) fromMinistry of Science and Technology, Academia Sinica Research Award (2013) for Junior Researchers from Academia Sinica of Taiwan, National Innovation Award (2012) from Institute for Biotechnology and Medicine Industry of Taiwan, Academic Achievement Award (2011-2020) from National Yang Ming University.
